A Public Session is a stage-style event with designated speakers and an audience. Free and open to everyone.
How it works
- Layout: Stage — speakers on stage, listeners in the audience
- Access: Free, open to anyone

- Recordable: Yes, with participant consent
Who it's for
Public Sessions are ideal for presentations, panels, interviews, Q&A events, and any format where a few speakers address a larger audience.
Creating a Public Session
- Tap the Go Live button
- Select Public Session
- Add a title, topic, and optional content warning
- Tap Go Live
Inside the session
- Speakers are on the stage with active microphones
- Listeners are in the audience with muted microphones
- Listeners can raise their hand to request to speak. The host can invite them to the stage
- The host can mute or remove speakers from the stage

Recording
The host can enable recording for Public Sessions. When recording is enabled:
- All speakers must provide explicit consent
- A visible RECORDING badge is shown to all participants
- Only speaker audio is captured — listeners are never recorded
