Private Rooms

A Private Room is an invite-only campfire conversation for a small group of people.

How it works​

  • Layout: Campfire — all participants are arranged in a circle
  • Access: Invite-only. Only people you invite can join
  • Size: 2 to 10 participants
  • Monetized: No
  • Recordable: No — Private Rooms are never recorded by Aria

Who it's for​

Private Rooms are perfect for close friends, collaborators, study groups, or any small-group conversation where you want privacy.

Creating a Private Room​

  1. Tap the Go Live button (center of the tab bar)
  2. Select Private Room
  3. Give your room a title (optional)
  4. Invite connections to join
  5. Tap Go Live

Inside the room​

Everyone in a Private Room can speak. There's no stage, no hand-raising, and no audience — it's a free-flowing conversation among equals.

Controls: Mic | React | Share | Invite | Leave

Privacy​

  • Only invited participants can see or join the room
  • The room is not visible on Discover or Search
  • No recordings, no AI summaries
  • Chat messages within the room are ephemeral
