Join Your First Room
Once your account is set up, you're ready to jump into a live conversation.
Finding a room
Open the Discover tab to see what's live right now. You'll find:
- Active rooms and sessions happening right now
- Upcoming scheduled sessions
- Rooms with people you're connected to
You can also use the Search tab to find rooms by topic or creator.
Joining
- Find a room or session on the Discover feed
- Tap the card to see details (title, host, participant count)
- Tap Join to enter
Microphone permission
When you join for the first time, Aria will ask for microphone access. You need to grant this to speak in rooms. If you prefer to listen only, you can still join — you just won't be able to talk.
To enable the microphone later: go to Settings > Aria > Microphone on your device.
What to expect inside
- Campfire rooms (Private Rooms and Public Campfires) — Everyone is arranged in a circle and can speak freely. Your mic starts unmuted.
- Stage sessions (Public Sessions and Subscriber Sessions) — There's a stage with speakers and an audience. As a listener, your mic is muted. You can raise your hand to request to speak.

Leaving
Tap the Leave button to exit at any time. You can rejoin as long as the room is still active.
