Managing Your Session
As a host, you have full control over your session while it's live.
Host controls
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mute a speaker | Temporarily mute a speaker's microphone |
| Remove a participant | Remove someone from the session entirely |
| Start recording | Begin recording (triggers consent flow for speakers) |
| Stop recording | End the current recording |
| End session | Close the session for everyone |
Managing speakers
In Stage sessions:
- Invite to stage — See raised hands and invite listeners to speak
- Mute — Mute a speaker who is being disruptive or needs a moment
- Remove from stage — Move a speaker back to the audience
Recording
When you start recording:
- All current speakers receive a consent prompt
- Speakers who decline are moved to listener mode
- A RECORDING badge appears for all participants
- New speakers invited during recording also receive a consent prompt

Ending a session
Tap End Session to close the session for all participants. After the session ends:
- Participants see the post-session summary
- An AI summary is generated and made available in the Library
- If recorded, the recording is available for replay
Moderation responsibility
As a host, you're responsible for maintaining a safe environment. This includes:
- Actively moderating your session
- Addressing disruptive behavior
- Setting appropriate content warnings
- Complying with recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
